Welcome News! Marcia Lynn Joins the Museum Team

The Valdez Museum is proud to annouce and welcome Marcia Lynn to the team as our new Administrative Marketing Coordinator.

She brings 27 years of public broadcasting experience to her job at the Museum after being a news host and reporter for NPR affiliated stations in Kodiak, Barrow, Bethel, Homer and most recently KCHU in Valdez. During a brief hiatus from radio she was bitten by “the museum bug” while working for the Pratt Museum in Homer at a job similar to her present one. She enjoys sharing the rich history of our region with visitors and community members alike.

Patricia Relay, our Executive Director, shared, “I am confident that Marcia will be an excellent match for the position and a strong asset to the Museum family. Please join me in welcoming her to the team.”
