Through a grant from Chugachmiut,  Alaska Native Master Artist June Pardue will teach and participate in an artist residency in Valdez January 29 –  Febrary 2, 2018  She will be at the museum M-F teaching the craft of making a seal skin beaded pouch from 10-11 a.m. and 12 noon to 1 pm (bring your lunch).  How long it will take to make either will likely depend upon your sewing experience. The activity is geared to 4th graders on up or those versed in hand-sewing. You do NOT have to attend all sessions.
