Welcome to the Valdez Museum

The Valdez Museum & Historical Archive is an active place. We bring the stories of our community's history alive through our programs and activities. Please explore this site or come visit us at our two locations: The Valdez Museum in the heart of downtown at 217 Egan Drive and the Remembering Old Valdez Exhibit on the waterfront at 436 S. Hazelet.

Jen-Ann Kirchmeier: A Sense of Place

Jen-Ann Kirchmeier: A Sense of Place is the summer exhibit currently on view at the Valdez Museum. This exhibit will be up until September 16th, 2013. "A Sense of Place" offers a retrospective look at the paintings of this noted Cordova artist as seen through the artist's reflections upon her travels and the remarkable people and places of Prince William Sound and beyond.
