Valdez, Alaska, UPDATED: July 26, 2019 – Response to the Valdez Museum’s annual spring fundraising drive has been overwhelming! It began in late May and we have already reached our $3,000 goal set for this drive. Not only that, we’ve exceeded the goal by $320 and a penny ($3,370.01.) Yes, every penny counts! In the coming weeks we hope to add to that figure as more Annual Appeal donations come in. But let’s keep the momentum going like we did in 2018 when donations from the 2018 Annual Appeal exceeded its $2,000 goal by $1,400.
This year Kaitlin Pabo-Eulberg, one of our newest VMHA Board members, composed an impactful letter that expresses her feelings about moving to the community and her involvement with the Museum:
“When I first made Valdez my home, visiting the Museum was at the top of my list of places to explore. I believe that the stories of the people who have inhabited this land matter to how I reside in this community.”
Kaitlin says learning about the history and people of this region improves the quality of her life here:
“I needed these museum exhibits to give me understanding of this history of the Prince William Sound as they give me depth to invest in the future of this town.”
As a non-profit organization the VMHA relies on all our loyal donors to maintain its financial health and ability to move forward.

Thank you in advance for your generous support!
