PICK CLICK GIVE TO THE VALDEZ MUSEUM 

Valdez, Alaska, December 29, 2022 – Each year between January 1 and March 31, Alaskans may apply for a Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD). While applying for their PFD online, Alaskans can choose to Pick.Click.Give in increments of $25. Alaskans may choose to add or adjust their pledges online through August 31. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive tax documentation from the State once their donations have been processed. 

Since 2009 the Valdez Museum has received $13,650 from generous Alaskan donors. With the generous support of Pick Click Give gifts, the Valdez Museum will continue its efforts in 2023 to be more than a place to store artifacts and relics. The Museum is grounded in a strong sense of responsibility to contributing to the region’s educational and economic development. Over the last year the Museum Board of Directors and Staff continue to work hard to not only expand our reach to summer visitors but deepen our relationship with the local community.  

The Valdez Museum functions as a place of ideas and education. We are a natural gathering place for a community and through a variety of activities and events we provide a conduit that helps build and strengthen inter-connections within the family units and within the community at large.

Your financial support is especially helpful right now as we strive to make measurable changes in community conditions and improve lives by offering enrichment opportunities in developing healthy children, families and community through our exhibits, cultural programs, education, and historical interpretation
