Valdez, Alaska, October 18, 2020:
Recently our dream of a new consolidated 20,000 square foot Museum & Historical Archive came a little closer to reality. October 6, 2020 the Valdez City Council approved the architectural services contract with Wolf Architecture, Inc., in partnership with Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. to provide public process and stakeholder engagement services; fundraising support services; and concept design services for the New Museum Project.
With three decades experience designing for commercial, municipal, and non-profit clients across Alaska, Wolf Architecture, Inc., based in Palmer, Alaska, is well-suited to lead the design effort for the Valdez Museum. Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. is a nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm based in Portland, Oregon. Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. has broad experience designing cultural, exhibit, museum, and community gathering spaces.
While the new museum project has been simmering on the back burner for a while, we are ready to officially launch the New Museum Project with a public OPEN HOUSE on
