Valdez, Alaska: On Sunday, November 28, 2021the Valdez Museum will take part in a global celebration designed to encourage direct community engagement through visitation and sales in participating cultural institutions. Museum Store Sunday is a signature advocacy initiative of the Museum Store Association.

More than 1,700 museum stores representing five continents, 23 countries, and all 50 States plus the District of Columbia, will offer inspired shopping at cultural institutions on Museum Store Sunday. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic the number of participants in this annual event keeps growing.

The Valdez Museum Store shelves are stocked with a wide range of books that tell the stories about people and events that have shaped this region and the state of Alaska as a whole.

Local fiber artists and crafters offer up their creations, and you’ll find a full complement of art supplies, jewelry, children’s books, games and much more!
