Valdez, Alaska, March 10, 2020 – You Belong is the theme of our 2020 Membership Drive, because when you belong to the Valdez Museum new doors open for you, your family and friends to learn about the rich history and culture of our region. The 2020 Membership Drive was launched in mid-February and has already generated a positive response from supporters both within and outside the Valdez community. We have gained two dozen new and renewing memberships, generating more than $2,000 in revenue. But more importantly, museum membership enriches people’s lives. Inspiration from visiting artists, historical presentations and deep exploration of the Museum’s permanent exhibits are all benefits for our growing family of museum members.

There’s Still Time!

You can become a new member or renew your membership 365 days a year. But sign up by April 1, 2020 and your name is entered in the drawing to win a gourmet dinner for four, cooked in your home by Chef Matt Kress. Membership applications can be filed online at: www.valdezmuseum.org, apply by phone at: 907-835-2764 or fill out an application at the front desk of the Valdez Museum on Egan Drive in downtown Valdez.

Your membership truly makes a difference in our ability to provide outstanding exhibits, collections care, education and public programs. With our New Museum Building Project now moving forward we are excited to expand our family and share with you all the new developments that lie ahead.
