Museum Collection

The Museum's gift shop features books, maps and guides relating to Valdez, Prince William Sound, the Copper River Basin and Alaska in general. Topics include the 1964 earthquake, gold rush, Alaska oil industry and transAlaska pipeline, aviation, fishing, local history, native culture. A large selection of cookbooks and field guides round out the selection, which appeal to locals and visitors alike. The store also offers 'Made in Alaska' merchandise including items produced solely for the museum, depicting items of interest contained in the museum's collections and exhibits.
