These bronze medallions measure 2.5 inches in diameter and are a reproduction of the original medallion minted in 1959. The State of Alaska has commissioned a limited supply of 7000 available statewide for purchase by the general public in celebration of 50 years of Statehood. Valdez has been issued 600 medallions for sale through the Valdez Museum. Proceeds from your purchase will fund the installation of the Bill Egan plaque on the museum grounds in 2009. $50.00 each plus shipping and handling.
